About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze, design, build, test, and support the HL-7 integration engine
  • Support real-time and batch job technologies between clinical and revenue cycle applications
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of interface software functionality
  • Work with application coordinators, vendors, partners, and other stakeholders
  • Lead team meetings and vendor/stakeholder conference calls to determine requirements
  • Communicate interface systems issues to teammates and IT Leadership
  • Document HL-7 interface change requests, including incident tickets, projects, upgrades, and optimizations
  • Review, analyze, build, and document HL-7 interface requests based on specifications and requirements
  • Maintain and reconcile interface error logs in EPIC and Corepoint
  • Participate in systems integration testing between EPIC and downstream systems
  • Develop skills for interface technology forecasting, upgrades, and enhancements with best-practice recommendations
  • Maintain daily support for EPIC and Corepoint downstream ancillary applications
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Business Administration preferred
  • Experience in multiple implementations in an interface/data conversion capacity
  • Epic Bridges certification required
  • Corepoint certification required
  • Must reside in Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, Florida, South Carolina, Michigan, or Colorado
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation
