About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and ship end-to-end features in the production terminal, and keep combine/parity paths aligned when needed
  • Debug hard multi-tab, hydrate, and persistence races
  • Improve performance on large lists and busy charts through virtualization, subscription lifecycle improvements, and avoiding expensive Redux churn
  • Collaborate with product and design teams on UX
  • Write clear PRs and communicate risk on sync, auth, and adjacent broker paths
  • Mentor the team and raise the bar on React patterns, state boundaries, and fixing root causes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years shipping complex React SPAs – hooks-first, with comfort in legacy class components
  • Strong TypeScript/JavaScript and Redux (or an equivalent global + local store architecture)
  • Experience with realtime / high-frequency UI – websockets, live lists, charting, trading, or similar
  • Proven debugging of cross-window state, persistence, or multi-store sync bugs
  • Comfort in a large monorepo – webpack, shared packages, long-lived feature branches
  • Clear written communication with product and peers
  • Chart products, market data, or broker integrations (nice-to-have)
  • Canvas/SVG/WebGL charting, WASM, transpilation (nice-to-have)
  • Virtualized lists (react-window etc.) and Emotion/styled UI systems (nice-to-have)
  • Vitest/Jest, and Bitbucket/GitHub workflows (nice-to-have)
  • Performance profiling in Chrome for long-lived trading sessions (nice-to-have)
