About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Enable and support business areas in decision-making in accordance with the Compliance Program, applicable laws and regulations, and Ethics & Compliance best practices
- Act as a guardian of the Compliance Program, contributing to the development and execution of the Integrity Program
- Review monitoring activities
- Conduct third-party due diligence analyses in accordance with policies and procedures
- Develop and deliver training
- Advise employees on new Compliance policies, procedures, processes, and systems
- Advise business areas and develop recommendations in accordance with the Compliance Program guidelines
- Collaborate with different areas and functions on Compliance-related matters
- Build a professional network to disseminate Compliance knowledge and projects
- Identify risk areas and propose process improvements
- Assess and analyze process risks based on business strategy, applicable regulations, and codes
- Present strategic solutions and improvements to the area’s management team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field (degree completed or graduation requirements fulfilled)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong command of Excel and PowerPoint for generating Compliance reports, dashboards, and metrics
- Advanced English proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Proven experience in Compliance (ideally 2 years)
- Experience managing and supporting Compliance Programs, with a focus on training and monitoring activities
- Experience creating executive presentations featuring Compliance metrics
- Knowledge of Corporate Governance, frameworks, and legal requirements applicable to publicly traded companies
- Advanced knowledge of Anti-Corruption Laws (Brazilian Anti-Corruption Law 12.846/13, FCPA, and UK Bribery Act)
- Knowledge of implementing and managing Integrity Programs
- Knowledge of GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) tools
- Additional Compliance courses or training (a plus)
- Knowledge of Compliance tools such as Uplexis, AML, Inspektor, SAP Integrity, and OneTrust (a plus)
- Compliance certification such as CPC-A, CCEP, or CCEP-I (a plus)
- Experience working for regulated companies (a plus)
- Experience with AI risk management and compliance (a plus)
- Advanced knowledge of risk management and internal controls (a plus)
- Experience drafting and reviewing internal policies, standards, and regulations (a plus)
- Experience with internal and external audits (a plus)
