About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Finance team in managing accounts receivable, with a focus on credit card transaction reconciliation
- Perform daily credit card reconciliation
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between systems
- Ensure the accuracy of reconciliations
- Analyze credit card transactions, identifying errors or inconsistencies
- Investigate and resolve issues related to payments, refunds, chargebacks, and other transactions
- Assist in preparing financial reports
- Participate in projects related to the Finance area
- Monitor the area’s performance indicators
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge of finance and systems
- Demonstrate initiative and an interest in learning new skills
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field (degree completed or graduation requirements fulfilled)
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting and finance
- Experience in financial reconciliation
- Availability to work on a six-month temporary contract
- Experience performing the activities described above
- Knowledge of payment gateway and acquiring systems is a plus
- English proficiency is a plus
