About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work on a strategic project focused on certifying new aircraft models, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
  • Monitor the Maintenance Directorate’s certification processes with aviation authorities, including requests, special authorizations, and regulatory matters
  • Support audits conducted by aviation authorities and customers, monitoring action plans and the resolution of nonconformities
  • Lead and participate in self-evaluations to ensure compliance with the requirements necessary for current and future certifications
  • Assess the conformity of maintenance processes, services, and facilities, including hangars and workshops
  • Prepare, review, and update manuals, procedures, and other normative documents related to aviation certifications
  • Analyze regulatory requirements for adding new products and capabilities to the Maintenance Directorate’s certifications
  • Participate in quality investigations and assessments of events related to operational safety and regulatory compliance
  • Promote quality and operational safety initiatives in partnership with maintenance technical teams
  • Identify, assess, and report operational hazards and risks, contributing to the strengthening of the safety culture
  • Monitor operational safety performance indicators and objectives, supporting the continuous improvement of processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree completed
  • Experience in Quality, Aviation Certification, or Regulatory Compliance
  • Experience in aviation maintenance
  • Intermediate knowledge of aviation regulations
  • Experience with audits, conformity assessments, or certification processes
  • Knowledge of Safety Management Systems (SMS)
  • Intermediate English
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Basic Spanish (a plus)
  • Knowledge of quality tools (a plus)
  • Experience with aviation certification processes (a plus)
  • Experience with projects related to the certification of new products, capabilities, or aircraft models (a plus)
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies or Agile management (a plus)
