About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide strategic management for GCHP Medicare sales programs and support marketing programs
- Monitor sales distribution channels for compliance with CMS guidelines
- Coach sales agents and guide performance improvement
- Ensure lead/funnel management, disposition, and call overflow participation standards
- Lead outreach to community organizations and negotiate partnerships or collaborations
- Manage sales systems and CRM functionality as business owner, collaborating with vendor management
- Analyze sales retention activities and develop initiatives to increase membership and member experience
- Collaborate with staff, members, doctors, elected officials, community partners, and vendors
- Maintain creative playbooks, workplans, dashboards, and project-management tools
- Develop trainings supporting sales, marketing, communications, retention, and brand awareness
- Create policies, SOPs, productivity standards, roadmaps, reports, KPIs, and performance evaluations
- Stay current on CMS and state guidelines and regulations
- Manage initiatives and support PMO and enterprise-wide activities
- Organize and facilitate sales and retention project meetings
- Manage sales department staff and processes from lead generation through enrollment and retention
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study, or 4 years of equivalent academic education, professional training, or work experience in lieu of degree
- Minimum of 5 years of Medicare Advantage sales experience
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
- At least one year of experience with the Medi-Cal program
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to present to individuals or groups
- California Life, Accident and Health Insurance License, or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment
- Medicare supplemental benefits experience strongly preferred
- CMS filing and audit experience strongly preferred
- Project management, program management, or product development experience preferred
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office products and job-specific applications/systems
- Excellent people skills and ability to interact with diverse individuals
- Ability to work independently and lead effectively in a matrixed environment
- Territory and funnel management oversight skills
- Strong ethical foundation and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Valid and current driver's license, auto insurance, and professional licensure(s)
