About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Safely operate CAT 2900 and CAT 1700 underground loaders (Boggers)
- Load, haul, and dump ore and waste in line with mine plans
- Maintain development headings, production stopes, stockpiles and tipping areas
- Complete pre-starts
- Identify and report hazards, ground conditions and equipment issues
- Collaborate with underground truck drivers and other operators to load and haul efficiently
- Ensure fitness-for-work on all rostered days
- Contribute to a strong safety culture
- Report to the Supervisor Underground Production
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience operating underground Boggers in both production and development crews
- Teleremote experience with RCT highly regarded
- Experience in underground hard rock mining techniques, including watering, bogging, scaling, and trucking development
- Commitment to safety, respect, responsibility and collaboration
- Current manual C class driver’s license
- Dangerous Goods Security Card
- Working at Heights
