About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with a diverse team to contribute to operational excellence for the Processing department at Granny Smith
- Ensure safe, profitable, and efficient operations
- Implement and support technological solutions for operational system design, integration, and automation
- Support operational data collection, management analysis, and reporting
- Own the site Process Control Management of Change process, ensuring all changes are approved, documented, and tested
- Identify, implement, and manage control system upgrades to improve operational technology reliability
- Integrate the site power station to deliver site-wide power monitoring, power balance, and efficiency improvements
- Review, develop, and optimise maintenance strategies and tactics to ensure plant and equipment reliability
- Report to the Processing Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Tertiary qualifications in Control System Engineering or related Engineering discipline
- Manual driver’s licence
- Extensive process control system experience, preferably in the Mining industry
- Knowledge of Citect
- Knowledge of SCADA configuration
- Knowledge of Schneider Control Expert systems
- Knowledge of Aveva PI historian systems
- Knowledge of underground remote operational technology is desirable
- Strong communication, responsibility, and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to work an 8 days on / 6 days off FIFO roster or be residential
