About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain internal development platforms
Support software development teams in delivering applications efficiently and reliably
Develop and manage modern, container-based cloud infrastructures on Azure
Define Azure resources declaratively and provision them automatically with Terraform, including Azure App Service and container-based applications
Operate and continuously enhance Kubernetes-based platforms
Develop and maintain automation scripts for provisioning infrastructure components
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines
Implement and maintain monitoring tools to track performance, security, and reliability
Coordinate with business units to integrate security standards
Create technical documentation for platform components, processes, and best practices
Evaluate new tools and technologies for integration into the existing platform
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to create standardized solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successfully completed a degree in Computer Science or a comparable IT-related qualification
Solid professional experience in DevOps, ideally including experience in security
Experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally Azure
Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Knowledge of automation tools such as Terraform
Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines, e.g., GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps Pipelines
In-depth knowledge of observability solutions
Understanding of modern security practices, including encryption and IAM concepts
Passion for modern ways of working and learning new approaches
