About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain internal development platforms
- Support software development teams in deploying applications efficiently and reliably
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to create standardized solutions
- Develop and manage modern, container-based cloud infrastructures on Azure
- Use Terraform to declaratively define and automatically provision Azure resources such as Azure App Service and container-based applications
- Operate and further develop Kubernetes-based platforms
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for provisioning infrastructure components
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines
- Implement and maintain monitoring tools to monitor performance, security, and reliability
- Coordinate with business departments to integrate security standards
- Create technical documentation for platform components, processes, and best practices
- Continuously evaluate new tools and technologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed a degree in computer science or a comparable IT-focused qualification
- Solid professional experience in DevOps, ideally with experience in security
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally Azure, as well as container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Terraform
- Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps Pipelines
- Strong knowledge of observability solutions
- Understanding of modern security practices, including encryption and IAM concepts
- Passion for modern ways of working and learning new approaches
