About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide administrative support to two or more lawyers
  • Effectively communicate with witnesses, clients, colleagues, and partners
  • Prepare and/or proofread legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, opinions, complaints, administrative decisions, and orders
  • Maintain an accurate case record system, including keeping contacts and case material up to date
  • File legal documents with various local courts
  • Facilitate meeting deadlines by keeping multiple agendas and providing timely reminders
  • Schedule depositions and client meetings
  • Maintain all attorney calendars

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of experience in the legal field preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, and Zoom
  • Working knowledge of litigation management software systems is a plus
  • Outstanding time-management and typing skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized
  • Ability to communicate in a secondary language is a plus
