About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with test automation engineers and cross-functional product owners to translate acceptance criteria into technical documents, write automation scripts, and integrate them with the test automation framework and CI/CD pipeline
- Lead automation projects and write automation scripts for test cases, interfacing with the automation testing framework
- Provide progress status updates to the project manager and reporting manager
- Work in alignment with project schedules for yourself and the team
- Ensure functional requirements and business process flows are understood and tested in test and UAT environments according to quality assurance processes and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development, technical and team leadership
- Prior experience on the Test Automation Framework and Adaptive AI for Test Automation
- Demonstrated experience in Java, JavaScript, Python, Rest Assured, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG and Junit
- Source code management with Git, Azure DevOps, Elastic/Kibana, and application performance monitoring
- Solid experience in test plan preparation, including scenarios and test cases
- Experience with BDD (Behavior Driven Development)
- Experience leading fast-paced teams with ownership of end-to-end delivery
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Nice to have: AWS Lambda, EC2, S3; Docker; Kubernetes; Jira; Oracle or Document DB; banking or lending industry domain knowledge
