About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Answer phones, route calls, and take messages
- Prepare and mail overnight, regular, and certified correspondence
- Use ImageRight, WINS, and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Process and review invoices
- Open, prepare, sort, and scan mail into ImageRight
- Set up FNOL claims and related workflows, including coverage confirmation, incident/claim setup, ISO claim entry, lawsuit setup, broker acknowledgements, and examiner task assignment
- Submit HIPAA authorizations through the MCS portal and import received medical records into ImageRight
- Process Summons & Complaints
- Redact policies in ImageRight
- Share GNY files with third parties via OneDrive
- Set up Independent Medical Exams
- Back up the main switchboard as needed
- Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years administrative experience preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 required
- Experience with ImageRight and WINS a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Able to work as part of a team
- Capable of prioritizing various tasks and completing assignments with a sense of urgency
- Ability to think creatively and develop strategies to solve claim issues
