About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide hands-on technical leadership and development in mobile solution development
Contribute to the development and execution of an innovative mobile banking solution in Asia
Develop in-country and cross-border solutions across customer experience and design, new products and services, process engineering, and other functional deliverables
Provide a leading voice in the mobile architecture framework and roadmap, covering languages, tooling, patterns, and delivery processes
Enhance the team’s skills and practices in alignment with technology strategy
Provide technical guidance through the complete Solution Development Life Cycle
Develop solution architectures aligned with enterprise-wide standards
Lead the technical design process and coordinate stakeholders
Develop and document solution architectures aligned with bank standards and policies
Maintain design and engineering best practices and technical app roadmaps
Technically lead and coach engineers in cross-functional delivery teams
Support ongoing products

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 3 years of experience in iOS development with Swift
Experience developing both Android and iOS applications is a plus
Willingness to learn Android and apply it to feature development
Experience with SwiftUI, Swift Package Manager, and keeping up with WWDC updates
Having an app in Google Play or the Apple App Store is a plus
Experience in KMM development is a plus
Experience integrating mobile apps with web services such as Firebase
Experience in automation tests and unit tests
Experience in memory and performance solving
Experience with Dexguard, Proguard, or Dexprotector is a plus
Experience with Design System is a plus
Experience with Feature Flagging, such as Firebase or LaunchDarkly, is a plus
Experience developing for multiple screen sizes and densities
Experience developing custom UI for native components
Familiarity with trending frameworks and libraries
Ability to find and use third-party open-source libraries
Strong willingness to learn new practices and technologies
Ability to work well in a team and mentor/coach others
Exceptional interpersonal skills, including facilitation and negotiation
Understanding and experience of Agile methodology
Experience working across several technical domains, with ability to deep dive where required and ensure correct solutions are implemented
Ability to translate technical concepts to the business
Ability to deliver convincing presentations that provide significant insight and generate consensus and buy-in
