About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and expand coded design systems with AI-ready architectures
Work within the UI and Design System team
Integrate design and engineering considerations, including implementation constraints, states, APIs, and platform differences
Deliver reusable design-system components, patterns, and foundations in a complex digital-product environment
Collaborate with UX designers, UI designers, Design System specialists, Motion designers, Brand designers, UX Researchers, UX Writers, and UX strategists
Participate in meetings and design critiques
Use data-driven decisions to create holistic design solutions
Convey design decisions clearly to stakeholders
Maintain and scale design systems from concepts through final execution
Stay current with product-design trends and best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years of experience in structuring and scaling a coded Design System, focusing on mobile Android and iOS with AI-ready architectures
Design-engineering fluency and comfort discussing implementation constraints, states, APIs, and platform differences
Demonstrated experience delivering reusable design-system components, patterns, or foundations in a complex digital-product environment
Strong Figma capability, including component properties, variables, modes, libraries, and scalable file organization
Working knowledge of design-system foundations, component architecture, and template systems, including tokens, theming, documentation, versioning, reusable business patterns, and contribution workflows
Portfolio showcasing successful implementation of design systems from concepts to final execution with AI references
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in product design
Ability to advocate for a vision while adapting when alternatives are more compelling
Collaborative mindset addressing business, brand, and user requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
English is the primary language for the multinational team
