About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Translate MCA Asia’s business strategy into measurable technology delivery outcomes
- Drive partner integrations, market launch readiness, and operational scalability
- Define technical requirements, build project roadmaps, and manage execution timelines for complex engineering initiatives
- Lead collaboration across engineering, product management, security, and operations
- Anticipate technical bottlenecks, manage dependencies, and implement data-driven mitigation strategies
- Participate in architectural discussions and translate business requirements into technical tasks
- Provide program status, performance metrics, and risk visibility to executive leadership
- Lead technical design and deployment of end-to-end integrations with external banks, underwriting partners, and credit networks
- Align internal engineering, product, compliance, legal, data privacy, and security teams with external partners
- Manage dependencies, critical paths, and project lifecycles for merchant financing infrastructure
- Oversee secure API contracts, data orchestration workflows, and financial messaging standards
- Address technical and regulatory bottlenecks and ensure compliance with PCI-DSS and KYC/AML banking standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
- Native-level proficiency in written and spoken Business English
- Professional proficiency in Vietnamese
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3–5 years of experience leading technical program/project management for medium-high FinTech, core banking, merchant lending, or payment processing ecosystems
- Proven track record managing technical integrations, API rollouts, and system dependencies with external corporate partners
- Proven track record managing end-to-end lifecycles for complex, distributed systems or infrastructure projects
- Good-to-have: Deep knowledge of credit underwriting systems, merchant risk models, loan servicing platforms, or ledger systems
- Good-to-have: Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, cloud security, and financial data encryption protocols
- Good-to-have: Experience with large-to-medium scale cloud infrastructure, machine learning pipelines, or data analytics platforms
- Good-to-have: Strong proficiency in Agile methodologies and modern hybrid program-project management
