About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead IT projects from initiation, planning, and execution through implementation and project closeout
- Define project scope, objectives, requirements, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource requirements
- Coordinate activities across infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, cloud, application, database, and business teams
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Facilitate project kickoff meetings, status meetings, technical discussions, and stakeholder reviews
- Track project progress and proactively identify schedule, budget, resource, and technical risks
- Maintain project risk, issue, action, and decision logs and ensure appropriate follow-up
- Identify project dependencies and coordinate activities across internal teams and external vendors
- Provide regular project status reports, dashboards, and executive-level updates
- Escalate project risks, issues, and decisions requiring leadership attention
- Ensure project documentation is complete, organized, and maintained throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate testing, implementation, migration, cutover, and go-live activities as needed
- Conduct project closeout activities, including lessons learned and confirmation that project objectives have been achieved
- Support continuous improvement of IT project management processes, standards, templates, and governance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years of IT Project Management experience (or commensurate experience)
- Must be able to attain and maintain HUD suitability
- Experience coordinating with infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, cloud, application, database, and business teams
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Experience developing project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource requirements
- Experience tracking schedule, budget, resource, and technical risks
- Experience maintaining project risk, issue, action, and decision logs
- Experience coordinating internal teams and external vendors
- Experience providing project status reports, dashboards, and executive-level updates
- Experience coordinating testing, implementation, migration, cutover, and go-live activities
- Experience supporting IT project management processes, standards, templates, and governance
