About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and configure applications within the ServiceNow platform using App Engine, Flow Designer, and UI Builder
Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate operational needs into scalable applications
Execute the full SDLC using Scrum, Agile, DevSecOps, Lean, and Waterfall
Troubleshoot and resolve integration, MID Server, deployment, and defect issues
Apply ServiceNow best practices and governance to minimize technical debt
Maintain cybersecurity compliance with HUD security requirements and federal data protection standards
Produce and maintain technical documentation, including Software Product Documentation and Update Set logs
Support application lifecycle modernization and migration of legacy workflows
Provide platform insights on governance, capability planning, and digital transformation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience, or commensurate experience
Experience developing and configuring ServiceNow applications for federal civilian agencies
Experience executing SDLC using Agile, DevOps, or DevSecOps
Experience securing ServiceNow applications according to HUD OCIO cybersecurity requirements, DHS/OMB directives, FISMA, and federal data-protection policies, including ATO support
Proficiency integrating ServiceNow with external APIs, data sources, identity and access management solutions, enterprise data warehouses, grants management systems, and cloud environments
Ability to translate mission needs into scalable technical solutions
Ability to manage tasks in fast-paced federal environments while complying with enterprise architecture standards and governance models
Ability to attain and maintain an HUD Public Trust clearance
Knowledge of ServiceNow Governance or CSDM preferred
ServiceNow certifications such as CAD or CIS preferred
Familiarity with enterprise IT governance and hybrid cloud integration preferred
Knowledge of ITAM, HAM, SAM, SecOps, Security Incident Response, Vulnerability Response, and Threat Intelligence preferred
