About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop applications in accordance with requirements, best practices, product strategy, usability, and quality standards.
Develop graphical interfaces and apply ergonomic navigation criteria.
Analyze and fix bugs and logic issues, seeking to prevent recurrence.
Build and modify database structures and update graphical and textual information.
Execute preliminary designs and conceptual, logical, structural, physical, and graphical projects, including reverse engineering.
Perform unit testing and testing under simulated operating conditions.
Run simulations and create production environments to measure results.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation for systems.
Update and configure the development environment.
Analyze requirements and estimate development and maintenance solutions.
Maintain a systems-level view of the product and solution architecture.
Participate in technical decisions regarding the evolution of software products.
Map processes and model systems and data in accordance with business rules.
Participate in inspections of software production lifecycle artifacts.
Lead or contribute to low- and medium-complexity software projects.
Monitor software product metrics.
Identify and propose continuous improvements to software processes.
Develop, deliver, and record courses on development practices, when applicable.
Participate in events and research supporting materials.
Contribute to knowledge transfer, training, and the review of documentation and training materials.
Perform peer code reviews.
Keep time tracking up to date.
Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Advanced experience with .NET, VB.NET, C#, Java, HTML, CSS, SQL, and SQL Server/PostgreSQL databases.
Angular 2+ is a plus.
Knowledge of software development best practices and testing.
Experience with agile development methodologies.
Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
Knowledge of systems analysis and software development techniques.
Experience with artificial intelligence.
