About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Discover and build AI-powered solutions that make work easier, faster and more automated for teams across GOVX
Work deeply with teams across the organization to understand business processes and identify workflows suitable for AI automation
Build AI agents and tools hands-on, initially working as a solo builder across departments beginning with Sales and Marketing
Develop clear requirements for AI tools and workflows and prioritize high-impact opportunities
Track tool usage and employee satisfaction through data-informed decision-making
Build stakeholder trust and communicate with individual contributors and department leaders
Stay current on AI capabilities, best practices and industry trends
Demo and teach AI enablement tools to internal stakeholders
Design, build and deploy AI agents and automated workflows using Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio
Integrate solutions with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
Test, refine and improve tools after production deployment
Drive rollout, training, documentation, adoption and ongoing support
Partner with Engineering when problems require engineering support
Help evolve AI governance practices with Engineering, IT and HR to ensure tools are secure, compliant and responsible
Apply product discovery techniques including stakeholder interviews, process mapping, journey mapping, framing and prototype testing
Build rapid prototypes to validate ideas
Evaluate, improve and refine production tools
Build relationships and foster collaboration with stakeholders, engineers and leadership
Support change management and adoption of new ways of working
Communicate and evangelize the broader vision for AI enablement at GOVX

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA/BS degree or equivalent education/experience
A background in computer science or information systems is a bonus
Minimum 2 years of product management experience, or equivalent experience building internal tools or business systems
Proven track record of building and deploying AI tools or automated workflows with demonstrable impact on business workflows at real companies
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio is required, including experience building and deploying agents
Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams is required
Hands-on experience with Claude, Atlassian Rovo and/or Amplitude AI is a plus
Coding ability (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL or working with APIs) is a plus, but not a requirement
