About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the technical team for assigned SAP module implementation projects
- Serve as an individual contributor on large- and small-scale projects in addition to leadership duties
- Gather business and technical requirements and create/maintain requirements workbooks and related documents from concept through go-live
- Identify and deploy process, system, execution, documentation and other improvements
- Collaborate with senior leadership, peers, direct reports, external partners and customers
- Perform system configuration, testing and deployment
- Serve as the single point of accountability for assigned project workstreams
- Direct and control workstream activities to meet client expectations
- Obtain required approvals for requirements, workbooks and testing results
- Maintain project documentation and prepare and deliver project progress reports
- Conduct internal project review meetings and act as a project information source
- Perform final reviews of deliverables and deliver quality solutions
- Ensure deliverables are on time and on or under budget
- Identify and communicate project risks
- Deliver to project scope and communicate change activities
- Interface with clients, project team members and senior management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 2+ years managing/leading technical teams
- Minimum of 5+ years SAP SuccessFactors HCM ABAP development and CPI experience
- Knowledge of the SAP ABAP programming language
- Experience with ECC BIB (Infoporter) ECC Replications and ECP P2P Replications
- Experience with SuccessFactors CPI and API integrations (Integrations Center)
- Experience with object-oriented programming, ABAP Objects and ABAP Workbench
- Participation in the full software development life cycle from concept and design to testing, deployment and maintenance
- Willingness to remain current with SAP/SuccessFactors HCM technologies
- Knowledge of HR policies and practices, and ability to anticipate future trends
- Requirements gathering from business users and translating them into technical specifications
- Knowledge of designing, coding, testing and documenting new features and functionality
- Detailed and results-oriented; initiative to solve problems
- Ability to communicate with team members and customers concisely and confidently, verbally and in writing
- Ability and desire to share knowledge with customers and mentor the project team
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work closely with multiple internal and external organizations
- U.S. Citizen required; candidates must be U.S.-based
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Preferred: experience with other SAP technologies, such as Business Objects
- Plus: experience configuring, implementing, or supporting additional SuccessFactors modules
