About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, and further develop existing ETL pipelines
  • Model and optimize data marts
  • Build and further develop OLAP structures and SSAS cubes
  • Develop and customize reports and dashboards
  • Work closely with requirements management and business departments
  • Translate business requirements into commercially viable solutions
  • Assess the technical feasibility of requirements
  • Prepare recommendations and decision-making materials for stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field, or several years of professional experience in the relevant area
  • Experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, or ETL environments
  • Strong knowledge of databases, ideally Microsoft SQL Server
  • Strong knowledge of ETL development, ideally with SSIS
  • Experience in database and data-mart modeling
  • Experience creating reports
  • Experience working with established and evolving system landscapes
  • Interest in long-term project assignments
  • Ability to implement requirements in a structured yet pragmatic manner
  • Understanding of commercial considerations and prioritization
  • Excellent German language skills, at least C1 level
