About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the Butler, Cranberry, Beaver, Gibsonia and Wexford, Pennsylvania territory
- Identify and implement event and activity plans for the territory
- Build awareness of online academic programs in education, healthcare and business
- Drive inquiry generation
- Build high-impact territory partnerships
- Deliver informational presentations and communicate via calls and email
- Counsel prospective students, families and partners in person, by phone and email
- Promote Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth
- Work independently to support prospective students through the admissions process
- Guide students toward successful online learning experiences
- Provide students with a roadmap from application through completion of their first few classes
- Travel extensively throughout the territory
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of success in outside business development, consultative sales or account management
- Bachelor's degree required
- No delinquent or defaulted federal student loan, as verified in credit report
- If in a rehabilitation program, credit report must show current, non-delinquent payments
- Outstanding time management and prioritization skills
- Clear written, in-person and telephone communication skills
- Well-developed listening skills
- Self-motivation and drive to succeed
- High emotional intelligence and empathy
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation and flexible schedule
- Clean driving record
- Ability to use a personal vehicle
- Evening and/or weekend availability for some events
- Computer literacy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
- Relevant industry-related professional experience is a bonus
- Experience working with CRM tools is a bonus
