Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Doctorate in Educational Leadership or Doctorate in Educational Administration preferred
  • Minimum: Masters in Educational Administration or Masters in Educational Leadership or Masters in Business Administration (MBA)
  • 2 areas of exceptional expertise
  • Valid state principal, supervisor, or superintendent certification
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a classroom instructor
  • Minimum of three years in a supervisory role, including dean of students, assistant principal, principal, or district-level administrator-related position
  • Alternatively, a minimum of three years in a school business administration role such as district business manager, finance director, or director of operations
  • At least six graduate credits related to public school finance, public school fiscal planning, accounting, principalship, or superintendency
