Key responsibilities & impact

Perform general analytics and statistical modeling on existing business data sets
Define data requirements and collect, process, clean, analyze, model, and visualize data
Examine and identify data patterns and trends to answer business questions and improve decision making
Provide inputs for complex Data Science and Big Data Mining projects
Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and automate data analysis processes
Direct, leverage, and guide the work of others and mobilize resources
Manage experienced professionals and/or supervisors, typically with two or more direct reports
Monitor and achieve operational and/or financial results
Hire, terminate, reward, train, and develop employees
Adapt departmental plans and priorities to meet short-term challenges
Advise subordinate employees to meet schedules and resolve technical problems
Develop and administer schedules and performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities
Interact with internal personnel and outside representatives
Participate in and present at internal and external meetings
Follow Safe Quality Food procedures and participate in SQF root cause and corrective actions

Requirements

What you’ll need

BA degree or related work experience required in lieu of degree
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Experience in business analytics, statistical modeling, data collection, processing, cleaning, analysis, modeling, and visualization
Understanding of data patterns and trends to improve business decision making
Knowledge of Data Science and Big Data Mining projects
Ability to identify opportunities to increase efficiency and automate data analysis processes
People management capabilities, including hiring, terminating, rewarding, training, and developing employees
Broad technical expertise and understanding of business operations
Ability to follow plant rules, processes, hygiene, allergens, and Safe Quality Food procedures
Ability to report unsafe food conditions and customer complaints
Ability to participate in SQF root cause and corrective actions
