About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Efficiently operate and maintain machinery to achieve high-quality production standards
- Perform set-up and adjustments on all manufacturing machines to ensure optimal performance
- Conduct general and preventative maintenance on all manufacturing machines to minimize downtime
- Train production operators, feeders, and packers in the proper operation and maintenance of manufacturing machinery
- Support maintenance technicians in production equipment repairs to ensure continuous operation
- Coordinate and assist in executing daily schedules to complete all tasks on time
- Maintain accurate production records of materials used and spoiled and assist manufacturing operators in tracking this data
- Participate in tasks necessary to ensure the continuous operation of the production process
- Follow all plant safety rules and maintain a safe working environment
- Monitor the quality of products being produced to ensure they meet company standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Basic math, reading and writing skills are required to perform this job
- Mechanical aptitude is required
