About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform manual labor duties in a fast-paced manufacturing environment under tight production deadlines
  • Palletize, wrap, strap, and label loads
  • Ensure all required quality checks are performed according to SOPs
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area by removing stray cartons, sweeping, and performing related tasks
  • Safely perform tasks on and around moving machinery and equipment
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and GPI safe work practices
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned
  • Support Finishing department operations to exceed customer expectations and align with business, cultural, financial, and operational objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Prior exposure to manufacturing strongly preferred
  • Must be able to read, interpret, and complete information sheets/forms
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand/power tools preferred
  • Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination required
  • Excellent communication skills: speaking, writing, listening, and reading
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time (8–12 hours)
  • Ability to perform awkward and/or repetitive movements, including pushing/pulling, bending, twisting, and above-shoulder lifting
  • Ability to routinely lift and occasionally heavy lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to work safely in a noisy environment with fluctuating temperatures
  • Willingness and ability to work all shifts, including days, afternoons, evenings, 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, weekends, and statutory holidays
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
  • Candidates unable to work any required shifts will not be considered
