About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide financial leadership for business decision-making in the Americas Packaging Division
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Work with cross-functional teams to analyze data and assess key projects
  • Support continuous improvement activities and world-class financial reporting standards
  • Provide analytical support for the local Site Leadership Team
  • Manage monthly close, monthly financial forecasts, annual operating plans, and compliance matters
  • Analyze the Plant’s monthly operating results, annual budgets, monthly production and financial forecasts, and weekly results reporting
  • Provide customer profitability and pricing analysis
  • Partner with plant management and serve as a member of the Site Leadership Team
  • Review month-end P&L and Balance Sheet results, including variance analysis
  • Present the Plant month-end results package to Regional/Senior Management
  • Oversee the monthly close process, Balance Sheet reconciliations, and accurate Revenue and Expense reporting
  • Create monthly financial forecasts and analysis
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis of financial and operating metrics
  • Lead development and analysis of the annual operating plan
  • Oversee SOX Compliance
  • Support Operations with Continuous Improvement initiatives and Appropriation Requests for capital spending

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA degree or related work experience required in lieu of degree
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years in an Accounting/ Finance role
  • 1 - 3 years in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite tools
  • ERP systems experience
  • Ability to travel 5%
