About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide financial leadership for business decision-making in the Americas Packaging Division
  • Partner with plant management and serve as a member of the Site Leadership team
  • Provide analytical support for monthly close, monthly financial forecasts, annual operating plans, and compliance matters
  • Analyze and evaluate monthly plant operating results, annual budgets, production and financial forecasts, and weekly results reporting
  • Conduct customer profitability and pricing analysis
  • Review month-end P&L and Balance Sheet results, including variance analysis
  • Review the plant month-end results package and present it to Regional/Senior Management
  • Oversee the monthly close process, Balance Sheet reconciliations, and accurate Revenue and Expense reporting
  • Create monthly financial forecasts and analysis
  • Perform ad hoc analysis of financial and operating metrics
  • Lead development and analysis of the annual operating plan
  • Oversee SOX Compliance
  • Support Operations with Continuous Improvement initiatives and capital spending Appropriation Requests
  • Follow and report on procedures related to producing Safe Quality Foods

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Business-related field required
  • Minimum 5-7 years in an Accounting/Finance role
  • 3-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite tools
  • ERP systems experience required; SAP preferred
  • Travel 5-10%; frequent local travel between locations
  • BA or equivalent + 6 years related experience, or MA + 4 years related experience
  • Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Follow plant rules, processes, hygiene, and allergen procedures related to Safe Quality Foods
  • Participate in SQF root cause and corrective actions as required
