About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide financial leadership for business decision-making in the Americas Packaging Division
- Provide accurate and timely financial reporting
- Provide analytical support to the local Site Leadership Team
- Support monthly close, monthly financial forecasts, annual operating plans, and compliance matters
- Analyze and evaluate monthly plant operating results, annual budgets, production and financial forecasts, and weekly results
- Provide customer profitability and pricing analysis
- Partner with plant management and serve as a member of the Site Leadership Team
- Review month-end P&L and Balance Sheet results, including variance analysis
- Present the plant month-end results package to regional and senior management
- Oversee the monthly close process, Balance Sheet reconciliations, and accurate revenue and expense reporting
- Create monthly financial forecasts and analyses
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis of financial and operating metrics
- Lead development and analysis of the annual operating plan
- Oversee SOX compliance
- Support Operations with continuous improvement initiatives and capital spending appropriation requests
- Participate in SQF-related root cause and corrective actions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Business-related field required
- Minimum 5-7 years in an Accounting/Finance role
- 3-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite tools
- ERP systems experience required; SAP preferred
- Travel 5-10%
- Ability to perform essential functions satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Follow all plant rules, processes, hygiene, and allergen procedures related to Safe Quality Foods
- Report potentially unsafe conditions and customer complaints to a person of authority
- Participate in SQF root cause and corrective actions as required
- Follow procedures related to producing Safe Quality Foods (SQF)
