About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide financial leadership to one of GPI’s largest converting plants
- Lead the financial function for the site as a member of the plant leadership team
- Manage the finance process for the entire plant
- Manage the plant financial team and supervise inventory control
- Partner with plant management to achieve financial and operating objectives
- Provide analytical support for continuous improvement activities and cross-functional projects
- Analyze month-end P&L and Balance Sheet results, including variance analysis
- Develop month-end results packages for presentation to Senior Management
- Provide monthly financial forecasts and analysis
- Provide key decision support to plant management
- Coordinate the annual budget process and consolidate financial data, risks, and opportunities
- Support plant safety and operating initiatives
- Monitor and validate savings with plant management
- Analyze customer profitability and pricing
- Develop and manage financial controls according to company procedures and policies
- Establish, monitor, and enforce internal controls to protect assets
- Conduct audits, primarily of inventory and fixed assets, and provide information to internal and external auditors
- Ensure accurate and timely financial and management reporting
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in an Accounting / Finance role
- Minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment
- BA or equivalent + 3 yrs related experience, or MA + 1 yr related experience
