About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Schedule production, processing, assembly, and packaging activities
  • Schedule human resources, tools, and equipment needed for production
  • Select and sequence available resources and required processing for individual work centers or lines
  • Implement scheduling changes due to backlogs, design changes, machine downtime, or material/labor shortages
  • Contact other departments and outside organizations to obtain or provide information on moderately important or sensitive matters
  • Follow procedures for producing Safe Quality Foods
  • Report potentially unsafe SQF conditions or customer complaints
  • Participate in SQF root cause and corrective actions from customer complaints, audits, validation, and verification activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • May require vocational/technical training
  • High School Education or equivalent + 4 yrs related experience
  • Full knowledge of the job
  • Skilled in a range of processes, procedures and systems
  • Ability to modify work practices/processes to achieve results or improve efficiency
  • Ability to solve atypical or infrequent problems using existing precedents or procedures
  • Ability to make decisions with limited supervision
  • Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Follow all plant rules, processes, hygiene, allergens, and Safe Quality Food procedures
  • Report potentially unsafe conditions and customer complaints to a person of authority
  • Participate in SQF root cause and corrective actions as required
