About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist the Lead Project Scheduler in developing and maintaining the project schedule
  • Work with Lead Project Scheduler, Site Management, and Project Management teams to plan and sequence work
  • Maintain frequent communication with the Lead Project Scheduler, project team, and trade partners
  • Evaluate construction sequencing and help plan efficient workflows
  • Assess project schedules to identify and mitigate scheduling conflicts and compression
  • Review schedules from a safety perspective and identify potential safety concerns and mitigation points
  • Review two-to-three-week lookahead schedules for accuracy and construction sequencing
  • Evaluate and communicate construction critical paths to the project team, trade partners, and Customer
  • Evaluate and communicate the impact of Customer decisions, design delays, and trade partner progress on the project schedule
  • Mitigate critical path delays and prepare time impact analyses as required
  • Learn and develop new skills to enhance project schedule performance
  • Adhere to Gray's policies and procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of construction experience
  • Previous data center or mission critical experience highly preferred; strong industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or healthcare construction backgrounds encouraged
  • Understanding of civil, structural, architectural, and MEP systems sequencing
  • Experience with Primavera P6 strongly preferred
  • Basic understanding of civil, structural, architectural, and MEP scopes of work
  • Basic understanding of the design process relative to the project schedule
  • Basic understanding of project administration, including submittals, document control, and change management
  • Ability to understand and utilize Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
  • Understanding of schedule logic, predecessors, successors, and float
  • Ability to assist with project schedule development and progress updating
  • Ability to prepare schedule update narratives and reports
  • Ability to develop construction sequencing to support efficient workflows
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with project teams and trade partners
  • Must not require visa sponsorship; role is not eligible for visa sponsorship
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
