About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Diagnose, service and perform preventative maintenance on OHS Feeding & Storage branded storage and unloader equipment/machinery in an agricultural setting
  • Utilize hand and power tools daily
  • Coordinate on-site service work as designated by the Service Manager to fulfill customer requirements
  • Relay information between the Service Manager and the customer to ensure understanding and fulfillment of service needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High level of mechanical ability
  • Experience with cutting and fabrication of materials
  • Previous farm sector experience considered an asset
  • Electrical and/or hydraulic component experience considered an asset
  • Ability to work within a team-based environment focused on safety, productivity, quality and customer service
  • Available to work occasional weekend on-call schedule
  • Effective time management skills and ability to work well under pressure
  • Superior customer service skills with high level of communication abilities
  • Valid Class G driver’s license
  • Ability to mentor or guide junior employees
  • Interested in working outdoors for long periods of time and prepared for physically demanding work
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Understanding of both oral and written instructions
