About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build municipal, industrial and agricultural liquid storage systems on active construction sites
- Operate power tools and equipment to assemble tank systems
- Work with a field crew, typically five team members including the Foreman
- Coordinate daily tasks and keep projects moving safely and efficiently
- Support project timelines through reliable execution, teamwork and strong work ethic
- Travel extensively to project sites across Canada, including overnight stays depending on project requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience in Construction
- Ability to work within a team based environment focused on safety, productivity, quality and customer service
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Valid Class G driver’s license or ability to get to crew meeting point
- Comfortable with physically demanding work
- Comfortable working outdoors for long periods of time in all types of weather
- Desire to learn new skills
- Comfortable with travel
- Understanding of both oral and written instructions
- Ability to work on active construction sites
- Ability to operate power tools and equipment, including impact tools, torque wrenches and caulking equipment
- Ability to work extensive travel assignments across Canada, including overnight stays away from home
- Must be able to accommodate variable project-based schedules
