About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build municipal, industrial and agricultural liquid storage systems on active construction sites
- Operate power tools and equipment, including impact tools, torque wrenches and caulking equipment
- Assemble tank systems
- Coordinate daily tasks with a field crew of typically five team members, including the Foreman
- Support project timelines through reliable execution, teamwork and strong work ethic
- Travel to project sites across Canada and stay overnight away from home when required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience in Construction
- Ability to work within a team-based environment focused on safety, productivity, quality and customer service
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Valid Class G driver’s license or ability to get to crew meeting point
- Comfortable with physically demanding work
- Comfortable working outdoors for long periods in all types of weather
- Desire to learn new skills
- Comfortable with travel
- Understanding of oral and written instructions
- Ability to undertake extensive travel to project sites across Canada, including overnight stays away from home
- Ability to work variable project-based schedules
