About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of software development projects from initiation to delivery
- Develop and maintain project plans and schedules
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and QA engineers
- Manage project scope, resources, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
- Facilitate technical decision-making and architectural discussions
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices in software development
- Communicate project status, issues, and decisions to stakeholders at all levels
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations when applicable
- Drive continuous improvement in development processes and methodologies
- Collaborate with product management to align technical solutions with business goals
- Create and maintain technical documentation and project reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in technical project management in software development
- Background in Agile methodologies
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and methodologies
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Monday, GitHub)
- Knowledge of software architecture and design principles
- Familiarity with various programming languages and technology stacks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies
