About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support facilities management teams across 16 prison sites in the South West and South Central
- Partner with regional operations teams to improve risk management
- Promote a positive health and safety culture
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to Health and Safety Coordinators
- Implement health and safety policies
- Lead investigations
- Ensure continuous improvement
- Travel extensively to operational sites to foster a one-team approach and share best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Total Facilities Management (TFM) industry experience
- NEBOSH Certificate
- Ideally holds or is working towards NEBOSH Diploma
- Methodical, organised approach with good attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to tailor messages to the audience
- Resilience and confidence in health and safety knowledge
- Competent use of MS Office and IT/FM systems and software
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel extensively
