About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Safely apply pesticides according to company standards, label instructions, and applicable laws and regulations
- Document services performed according to company standards and applicable laws and regulations
- Operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment according to company policy
- Drive company vehicle to customer locations
- Build and maintain relationships with teammates and customers
- Communicate with customers about services, plans, and service schedules
- Respond quickly to customer and office requests
- Assist in sales activities and ensure customers receive comprehensive Pest Control and Animal Management services
- Complete extensive inspections and propose all possible solutions when issues are found
Requirements
What you’ll need- No direct experience required
- Sales experience preferred
- High school or equivalent preferred but not required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Must pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screen
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures, tight spaces, and elevated heights
- Ability to work with stinging and/or biting pests
- Ability to read and write notes clearly
- Able to lift equipment backpack up to 50 lbs
- Ability to successfully complete the state pesticide applicator licensing process
- Able to handle, mix, and spray pesticides and associated chemicals
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
