About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Safely apply pesticides according to company standards, label instructions, and applicable laws and regulations
  • Document services performed according to company standards and applicable laws and regulations
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment according to company policy, maintaining proper condition
  • Drive a company vehicle to customer locations
  • Build and maintain relationships with teammates and customers
  • Communicate effectively with customers about their service, including updates to plans and service schedules
  • Respond quickly to customer and office requests
  • Assist in sales activities and ensure customers have complete Pest Control and Animal Management services
  • Complete extensive inspections and propose all possible solutions when an issue is found

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • No direct experience required; sales experience preferred
  • High school or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Must pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screen
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures, tight spaces, and elevated heights
  • Ability to work with stinging and/or biting pests
  • Ability to read and write notes clearly
  • Able to lift an equipment backpack up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to successfully complete the state pesticide applicator licensing process
  • Able to handle, mix, and spray pesticides and associated chemicals
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
