About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in executing marketing campaigns for GHG Sports & Entertainment brands, events, games, and initiatives
  • Support marketing activities across social media, email, digital, grassroots, and other promotional channels
  • Maintain campaign timelines and gather necessary information, materials, and approvals
  • Support ticket sales and attendance initiatives through coordinated marketing efforts
  • Create and maintain marketing tasks, assignments, due dates, statuses, and related information in the task management system
  • Review incoming marketing requests and capture necessary details
  • Monitor deadlines and flag outstanding or overdue tasks
  • Attend meetings to capture notes, action items, and next steps
  • Maintain organized marketing files, shared resources, calendars, contact lists, and event information
  • Provide general administrative support, including scheduling and coordinating team materials
  • Assist with content for social media, websites, emails, and promotional channels
  • Capture photo and video content at games, events, and activations as needed
  • Coordinate with the design team on graphics and creative assets
  • Maintain accurate event, game, promotion, and ticket information across marketing channels
  • Make basic website and content management system updates
  • Gather and organize assets and information for digital advertising campaigns
  • Maintain content and promotional calendars
  • Submit and update event and venue information on community calendars and websites
  • Assist with marketing execution for games, concerts, events, theme nights, and community activations
  • Prepare and organize promotional materials, signage, giveaways, and marketing collateral
  • Support grassroots marketing and community outreach efforts
  • Provide on-site marketing and content support as needed
  • Gather campaign performance data, including ticket sales, social media insights, email performance, and website traffic

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, sports management, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 0–2 years of experience in marketing, sports, entertainment, events, administrative support, or a related role, including internship experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing concepts
  • Interest in sports, live entertainment, events, and experiential marketing
  • Comfortable using task management systems and learning new marketing tools and platforms
  • Basic proficiency with Canva, email marketing platforms, social media scheduling tools, or content management systems
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and events as needed
  • Ability to take initiative, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
