About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and enhance SaaS solutions, particularly interfaces, in collaboration with the development team, Product Owners, and UX/UI designers
Design, test, maintain, and continuously improve software independently and as part of a team
Advise Product Management on technical questions
Discuss functional and technical requirements with Product Management and the relevant business department and coordinate their implementation
Gradually take on increasing responsibility for architecture, programming, and testing in the DevOps area
Advance products through pair programming, code reviews, and prototyping
Regularly collaborate with agile and interdisciplinary teams through DevComs and the Architecture Board
Bring your own ideas to life during monthly GreenDays and contribute them to product development
Contribute to all stages of the product lifecycle and work with Product Management and architects to shape the product development strategy

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successfully completed a degree in IT or a comparable qualification
Initial experience as a Software Developer, ideally in a SaaS environment
Initial hands-on experience with microservices and cloud infrastructure
Extensive knowledge of Java or Kotlin, ideally in a Spring context
Alternatively, very strong JavaScript/TypeScript expertise and experience with common frameworks
Familiarity with standard tools such as JIRA and Confluence for managing and documenting development
Strong commitment to quality
Good German skills and excellent English skills
