About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex data solutions, emphasizing Microsoft Azure pipelines
  • Develop robust data pipelines to produce enterprise-wide data assets
  • Develop comprehensive data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Power BI, and other tools
  • Create advanced data models and ETL processes across multiple enterprise systems
  • Implement data governance and quality control mechanisms
  • Design and maintain complex data transformations using Python, Spark, SQL, M, DAX, and other languages
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize data solutions
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
  • Perform advanced data cleansing and preparation
  • Support performance optimization of business unit solutions
  • Maintain confidentiality of member information
  • Participate annually in community service organizations and/or credit union-sponsored events
  • Report to the Director Data & Analytics
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in data engineering and business intelligence
  • Advanced proficiency in ETL processes, specifically in Azure cloud services
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI
  • Advanced proficiency in Python
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and warehouse design
  • Experience with cloud data architectures
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Financial services industry experience preferred
