About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work on new NetSuite customer implementation projects
- Work on projects within ongoing service engagements and other NetSuite-related assignments
- Identify and resolve clients’ technical challenges
- Develop solutions and maintain NetSuite systems as client needs evolve
- Identify opportunities for new tools and process improvements
- Support accounting, financial management, reporting, daily finance operations, and period-end close activities
- Analyze clients’ current business processes and system landscapes
- Configure and validate NetSuite functionality according to Greenstep’s project methodology
- Define integrations and connections to supporting systems
- Validate and migrate historical data or support clients with these activities
- Participate in deployment activities and provide go-live support
- Contribute to project planning and governance with clients and Project Managers
- Design and implement new features and enhancements for ongoing service engagements
- Define system modifications, test solutions, deliver demonstrations, and provide user training
- Consult internal and external stakeholders
- Support projects led by other teams
- Resolve service desk support requests
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive hands-on experience in accounting, financial processes, and financial statement preparation
- Strong knowledge of the NetSuite platform gained through practical work experience
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders such as auditors
- Experience with different financial management systems and processes
- Experience in an accounting firm or multi-client environment preferred
- Experience in process development is an advantage
- Relevant educational background in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and related legislation
- Knowledge of IFRS is an asset
- Fluency in English
- Swedish, Finnish, or Norwegian language skills are an advantage
- Proactive, energetic, consultative, and customer-oriented approach
- Strong organizational skills and ability to drive initiatives forward
- Full-time work permit and residence in the country where the employee works
- Selected candidates subject to credit and background checks
