About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support public relations functions, including media relations, content creation, research, and client communications
- Research media lists and conduct media outreach under supervisor guidance
- Participate in client communications
- Update and track team and client projects and activities using Google Docs, Excel, or similar tools
- Participate in team meetings, document discussion points and action items, and provide creative insight
- Learn and use productivity tools such as MuckRack and ChatGPT
- Develop knowledge of Gregory’s service offerings and clients’ businesses
- Complete assigned deliverables accurately, on deadline, and with appropriate documentation
- Communicate task status clearly and concisely
- Progressively perform tasks with less direction and greater proactivity
Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate degree in communication, public relations, marketing, journalism, English, or a similar major
- Previous PR internship experience is a plus
- Organized and able to multitask
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Enthusiastic and customer service oriented
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Desire to learn, with a curious, open mind
- Ability to use technology in the workday, including AI and productivity tools
- Must be in commuting distance of the Philadelphia-area office
