About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain relationships with external and internal Diagnostics Customers, Commercial Operations, and Technical Support departments
- Assist with ensuring on-time and complete delivery of goods to Diagnostics Customers in the Americas region
- Develop and maintain relationships with logistics providers, including manufacturers, warehouses, and freight carriers
- Deliver quality products and services on time to internal and external customers
- Assist with providing employees training and resources to meet or exceed customer requirements
- Monitor processes and products to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Maintain sales order entry in SAP
- Coordinate and manage outbound shipments to customers, including import permits and logistics requirements
- Manage the Track and Trace process to meet validated shipping requirements
- Handle customer invoicing and SOX compliance
- Assist with management of logistics providers, including 3PL warehouses and freight carriers
- Maintain SAP transactions to ensure product data integrity and traceability
- Contribute to Supply Chain strategic and special projects
- Collaborate with Planning/Procurement on inventory-level analysis
- Analyze Supply Chain KPIs, including customer on-time delivery performance
- Understand customer needs, educate customers, build collaborative relationships, address concerns, and establish customer feedback
- Perform other duties assigned by the department manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP, preferably MM/SD modules
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office components, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Prior experience in air transportation, customs clearance processes and international logistics desirable
- Proven ability to work under pressure and with ambiguity
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to focus on key customer needs
- APICS certification, Six Sigma or equivalent is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Associate's Degree, advanced training or equivalent experience required
- 2–3 years of experience in supply chain/logistics roles
- Depending on the area of assignment, directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the stated requirements
