About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct pre-donation medical screening
- Interact with donors and respond to customer needs
- Assess donor suitability and engage in set-up
- Provide appropriate feedback to ineligible donor candidates

Requirements

- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to work a flexible schedule

- Obtain required state licensures or certifications where applicable
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions
- Ability to listen to and understand information presented through spoken words and sentences
- Ability to perform work according to oral or written instructions
- Ability to relate sensitive information to diverse groups
- Ability to work in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids, infectious organisms, electrical office and laboratory equipment, and extreme cold below 32°F
- Ability to use required personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear, garments, gloves and cold gear
- Ability to sit or stand for the entire shift, bend, and twist neck and waist for 1–2 hours per day
- Frequent hand movement and precise coordinated finger, hand and wrist movements
- Ability to lift 15 lbs. routinely and up to 50 lbs. maximum
- Hearing acuity essential
- Color perception/discrimination and correctable near and far vision requirements
