About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct pre-donation medical screening
  • Interact with donors and respond to customer needs
  • Assess donor suitability and engage in set-up
  • Provide appropriate feedback to ineligible donor candidates
  • Ensure all donor screening information is complete
  • Ensure donor confidentiality
  • Perform work in a plasma center while sitting or standing for the entire shift
  • Bend and twist the neck and waist for 1–2 hours per day
  • Perform frequent hand and foot movements and occasional squatting, crouching, or sitting on heels
  • Handle exposure to biological fluids, infectious organisms, electrical office and laboratory equipment, and extreme cold in the plasma freezer
  • Perform a wide range of complex tasks under variable and changing conditions

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Superior customer service standards
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule

  • Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions
  • Ability to listen to and understand spoken information

  • Near vision and far vision correctable in one eye to 20/30 and in the other eye to 20/100
