Requirements

  • Obtain required state licensures or certifications where applicable
  • Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to listen to and understand spoken information and ideas
  • Ability to perform precise, coordinated finger, hand and wrist movements
  • Hearing acuity essential
  • Correctable near and far vision requirements: 20/30 in one eye and 20/100 in the other eye
  • Ability to lift 15 lbs. routinely and up to 50 lbs. maximum
  • Ability to work sitting or standing for the entire shift, with bending and twisting
  • Ability to work in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids, infectious organisms, electrical equipment and temperatures below 32°F
  • Ability to use required personal protective equipment
