About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct pre-donation medical screening
- Interact with donors and respond to customer needs
- Assess donor suitability and engage in set-up

Requirements
What you’ll need- A High School diploma or GED
- Superior customer service standards
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Interest in making a difference in the world
- Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable
- Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to listen to and understand information presented through spoken words and sentences
- Ability to perform within the guidance of oral or written instructions
- Ability to relate sensitive information to diverse groups
- Hearing acuity
- Color perception/discrimination
- Near vision and far vision correctable in one eye to 20/30 and to 20/100 in the other eye
- Ability to perform precise, coordinated finger, hand and wrist movements

- Ability to work sitting or standing for an entire shift, bending and twisting the neck and waist
- Ability to squat, crouch or sit on one's heels when required
- Ability to work in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids, infectious organisms, electrical equipment and extreme cold below 32 degrees F
